Makes two cups
INGREDIENTS
Basil
Spinach
Toasted almonds
Garlic
Parmesan cheese
Olive oil
Salt & pepper
Lemon juice
Preheat oven to 375°
DIRECTIONS
This recipe is an “eyeball it” kind of recipe. The ratio of basil to spinach is about 2.5:1.
I use about 1.5 of the living basil found a your grocery store, and 1 good handful of spinach.
Toast the almonds whole in the oven on 375 for about 8 mins.
Let them cool completely then put them in your food processor and chop fine.
Add the basil and spinach and blend till smooth.
