1 batch/45 minutes

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 28oz can whole tomatoes

  • 2 cans “original” Rotel

  • 1 ⁄ 2 yellow onion, roughly chopped

  • 1 clove garlic

  • 1 lime, juiced

  • 2 t agave

  • 1 ⁄ 2 t cumin

  • 1 t salt

  • 1 ⁄ 2 t pepper

  • handful of cilantro

  • 1 jalapeno, seeded and chopped, if you want it hotter just chop it up

There is no particular oder for adding ingredients together for blending.

DIRECTIONS

This recipe is a very similar version of Ree Drummond’s “Restaurant Style Salsa.” You can find it easily online. It’s the only salsa I make anymore and I get asked for the recipe all the time! Thanks Ree! Thepioneerwoman.com

In a blender or food processor ( I use a Vitamix, works like a charm! ) add all ingredients  and blend until all blended together. Adjust the salt and pepper to your taste. Cover and put in the fridge for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Enjoy!
