Serves 4

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 Flank Steak

  • 1 C white wine

  • 1 C reduced sodium soy sauce

  • 4-6 cloves garlic chopped

  • 2 T dark brown sugar

  • 4 green onions sliced

  • 1 t fresh ground pepper

DIRECTIONS

  1. Combine wine and soy sauce in a 2 cup liquid measuring cup.

  2. Add brown garlic, brown sugar, green onions and pepper.

  3. Place steak in a 1 gallon size plastic bag and pour marinade over steak. Seal the bag and place in a bowl in the fridge (to prevent spills and leaks).

Marinate for 1 hour and up to 2 days.

  1. Grill on a hot BBQ-medium high heat. Depending on the thickness of the steak and desired doneness roughly 12 minutes per side.

  2. Let the steak rest with a tented piece of foil over the top for about 15 minutes. Slice in 1/2” slices against the grain of the steak.

Enjoy!
