Marinated Flank Steak
Serves 4
INGREDIENTS
1 Flank Steak
1 C white wine
1 C reduced sodium soy sauce
4-6 cloves garlic chopped
2 T dark brown sugar
4 green onions sliced
1 t fresh ground pepper
DIRECTIONS
Combine wine and soy sauce in a 2 cup liquid measuring cup.
Add brown garlic, brown sugar, green onions and pepper.
Place steak in a 1 gallon size plastic bag and pour marinade over steak. Seal the bag and place in a bowl in the fridge (to prevent spills and leaks).
Marinate for 1 hour and up to 2 days.
Grill on a hot BBQ-medium high heat. Depending on the thickness of the steak and desired doneness roughly 12 minutes per side.
Let the steak rest with a tented piece of foil over the top for about 15 minutes. Slice in 1/2” slices against the grain of the steak.
